Whether your family is considering joining Mount Bruce Scout Group or you’ve already started your Scouting journey with us, this page includes helpful information for both new and current members.
Here you’ll find details about section fees, uniforms, what to expect throughout the year and useful links, including the Scouts Shop for purchasing uniforms and accessories.

Families are welcome to arrange up to two free trial visits before committing.
Costs
Fees will vary depending on when in the year you join.
Below is a full year of fees which are due in two stages over the year.
Please note: The majority of costs are fixed annual or semester payments and therefore we are unable to offer a refund on our Membership Fees, Insurance or Group Levies. Where a youth member resigns from Scouts Queensland during Term 1 (school term) or Term 3, the prepaid Term 2 or Term 4 portion of the Section Subs can be refunded upon request.
Ongoing Fees
Semester 1 - Due early March
Scouts Queensland Membership Fee = $300
Mount Bruce Section Sub Fee = $170
Semester 2 - Due early September
Scouts Queensland Membership Fee = $300
Mount Bruce Section Sub Fee = $170
One-off Costs
Camps and excursions are charged separately for each activity.
Play On Vouchers
Eligible families of youth members (under 18 years of age) can use the State Government’s Play On Vouchers to contribute towards their fees.
